Another month-to-month increase for Mass. REALTOR(R)
Market Index in March
Today we issued the results of the March 2011 REALTOR(R) Market Index (RMI) and the REALTOR(R) Price Index (RPI). The March RMI was up 14 percent from the February RMI.  The RPI was up3.68% from February while both the RMI and RPI were down again from the year before.

This month’s “Hot Topic” question asked REALTOR(R) members about the type of impact iPad/tablet computers would have on the real estate industry.

Here are the highlights:

  • REALTOR® Market Index was 32.09. Up 14% from February
  • REALTOR® Market Index was down 19.78% from same time last year
  • REALTOR® Price Index was 48.69.  Up 3.68% from February
  • REALTOR® Price Index was down 8.38% from same time last year
