MAR Housing and Homeless Assistance Grant Program

The MAR Charitable Foundation’s Board of Trustees created this program in 2000 to encourage REALTOR® support for local non-profit groups and their initiatives to provide affordable housing, shelter and other emergency care services within the Commonwealth. GNAR members may nominate housing or homeless assistance charitable organizations (501(C)(3)s) from our area for a monetary grant from the Foundation.  Grants are awarded in the spring and fall of each calendar year. The deadline for the spring 2012 funding round is April 13.  Last Fall, you may recall, that Nancy Purcell’s organization, ROOF Overhead Collaborative, was a recipient of grant monies. Please ensure that all applications are completed in their entirety and charitable paperwork is attached with your submission.   The links below will provide the form and guidelines for submission.  If you have any questions, please contact GNAR.
