2012 Recognition Award Winners!!!
The Realtor of the Year Award was presented on June 28 to Lela Wright, Immediate Past President of GNAR and Realtor with Stone Ridge Properties. The festivities were held at the Amesbury Sports Park, it was a great evening of celebration. Lela’s efforts at GNAR, as well as within the community, were highlighted by GNAR President Craig Holt. Lela participates in many civic groups, which include:
- NEF (Newburyport Education Foundation)
- Merrimac ValleyBoys & Girls Club
- Jeannie GeigerCrisis Center
- NHS Booster Club
- as well as supporting the efforts of Lucy’s Love Bus and Jack’s Magic Bean Charity Ride
- resides on the Board of Directors for RESTORE
At GNAR, Lela provides new member orientation, is a member of the Grievance Committee, and served as past State Director for the Massachusetts Association of REALTORS.
Also honored at the event were Rookie of the Year, Pam Hill Shuster of Coldwell Banker. Pam has made great strides in her short tenure with CBRB and is an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABS) . Pam has been a large contributor in 2012 to the Education Committee, bring new programs to our members.
As Affiliate of the Year, Todd Hughey of Leader Bank, received recognition for his efforts and participation with GNAR. He participates on the Affiliate Committee and has been a key sponsor for our educational efforts throughout his membership at GNAR.

CODE OF ETHICS – Mandatory before 12/31/12
REALTORS® are required to complete ethics training of not less than 2 hours, 30 min. of instructional time within the four-year cycle. The current four-year cycle will end Dec. 31, 2012. The training must meet specific learning objectives and criteria established by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS®. Be sure to get your Code of Ethics training completed before this deadline either online (no CEU’s) or at our next in-house class at GNAR on Monday, November 5 (earning 2 CEU’s for MA and 3 CEU’s for NH).
